Kepis

Ingredients


100 g of textured soy protein (meat flavored or neutral)
2 medium-sized onions
10 leaves of peppermint or mint
250 g of fine bulgur wheat
3 tablespoons of corn starch
Salt
Pepper
Parsley

Preparation


Soak the wheat for three hours.
Drain and mix it with the textured soy protein, onion, parsley and mint.
Season with salt and pepper.
Heat the mixture in a pot, add the corn starch dissolved in water.
Cook for 5-10 minutes on a slow heat.
Stir until the ingredients are well integrated. Let the mixture cool.
If necessary, add bread crumbs so that the mixture binds together.
Assemble the kepis (sized similar to a hamburger) and cook them in a pan with oil or baked.
